Who am I and what is JōSF? I'm a bona fide graphic, web and multi-media designer, and studio artist. JōSF is my design studio and tiny corner of the world wide web.

My interest in design and art began years ago, before I knew what a 'graphic designer' was. I have been drawing,painting and laying out print since I could pick up a crayon. In pursuit of my love of the arts I attended McDaniel Liberal Arts College. Professionally, I have been working in the industry for the past four years. I'm passionate about everything and anything that needs creating, specifically graphic design, web design and studio art. In the few moments I find myself with some spare time, I collect, race and ride road bicycles. When Friday night rolls around I'm the lead singer for a band called Nine Lives.

I'm a freelance designer who offers expert graphic, website and multi-media design along with all other forms of visual design, including print and video based media. I also enjoy dusting off my paint brushes and stretching some canvas now and then. I practice in the formalist and post-minimalist design movements in particular.

My goals are: to think differently, blaze new trails, continually hone my craft and deliver exceptional value to my clients, day in and day out. In the process, I continually strive to enhance the client service experience, and work hard to become a trusted extension of my clients’ businesses. I know that I'm successful when my clients view me as a business partner rather than just another designer.
